The Art and Fashion of Flowers by Jay Michael

Jay Michael is a true artist. He has been studying and experimenting with plants for a long time and mentioned "geeking out" on plants is what helped him push the envelope of floral design as we know it. To label him a florist is undermining the boundries Jay Michael has introduced to this field of design and fashion. He has made head dresses for a recent Sue Wong Runway Show (check his website for those great photos) and designed and decorated gardens for the Royalty of Thailand. When we walked into his store and workshop in Burbank, we saw some of these creations with our own eyes and couldn't beleive it. We will be taking Disney's lead, who just signed Jay Michael to contract, and lean heavily on his amazing eye and talent to bring a true artistic significance to our future events. Hey models and bookers, a gift made by Jay Michael when you book that huge campaign would be perfect, don't you think?

SOMW + DisneyNature - Happy Earth Day

SOMW wants to invite you to celebrate this EARTH DAY in a cool fashionable way...

SOMW is supporting DISNEY on their quest to save the Oceans. Disney will make a contribution in your honor to The Nature Conservancy to save our coral reefs. We all enjoy the beach and the ocean, not only for photo shoots but we definitely like to go surfing, scuba diving, water skiing...can you imagine if we can't because the Oceans are so polluted we can't go near the water, can you imagine no more dolphins, no more whales, no more baby seals, no more millions of different species we just get to see with snorkeling gear...GONE, VANISHES, DISAPPEARED!

Well we say HELL NO! and its time to put a stop to it, so SOMW is in full support of this cause, go see Disney's OCEANS opening today in a theater near you, enjoy the movie, get to know stuff you probably do not know now and it helps as well...

What other ways to help? You can go directly to:http://adopt.nature.org/coralreef/bahamas/ and help by adopting a coral reef in the bahamas...

There is a lot of ways we can help, and we can also help by making awareness with our friends and family, by recycling, disposing of proper waste, saving water and energy, planting a tree or simply donating your time to a charitable cause that fights for our planet to be healthier and better.

Stay Fashionable and do the right thing!
